Q. Do you offer installation services?

A. Although we do not have an in-house installation team, we are happy to recommend qualified installation professionals who can safely and professionally install your chosen fireplace, stove or fire in accordance with current regulations.

Q. How much does a new fireplace cost?

A. The cost varies depending on the type of appliance, fireplace surround, installation requirements and any additional building work required. We offer solutions to suit a wide range of budgets and provide transparent quotations with no hidden costs.

Q. Can I visit your showroom to see products in person?

A. Yes. We welcome customers to visit our Wrexham showroom where you can view a wide selection of working displays, fireplace surrounds, stoves and fires. Our team is always available to answer questions and provide advice.

Q. What is the difference between a wood-burning stove and a multi-fuel stove?

A. A wood-burning stove is designed specifically for burning logs, while a multi-fuel stove can burn logs as well as approved smokeless fuels. We can help you determine which option is best suited to your needs.

Q. Are modern fireplaces energy efficient?

A. Yes. Modern gas fires, electric fires and stoves are designed to provide excellent heat output and efficiency. Many newer models are significantly more efficient than older appliances and can help reduce heating costs.

Q. How often should my chimney be swept?

A. For wood-burning and multi-fuel appliances, regular chimney sweeping is essential for safety and efficiency. As a general guide, chimneys should be swept at least once a year, although more frequent sweeping may be recommended depending on usage.

Q. Do gas fires need servicing every year?

A. Yes. We strongly recommend having your gas fire serviced annually by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.

Regular servicing helps ensure your appliance continues to operate safely, efficiently and reliably. During a service, the engineer will inspect key components, check for any signs of wear or damage, clean the appliance where necessary and ensure it is burning correctly.

Q. What warranty do your fires and appliances come with?

A. All fires, stoves and heating appliances supplied by Cliftons Designer Fireplace Studio come with a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty as standard.

Many of the leading brands we supply also offer extended warranties when products are purchased through approved dealers such as ourselves and registered directly with the manufacturer. Depending on the appliance and manufacturer, warranty periods can often be extended to up to 5 years.

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to register their appliance warranty within the manufacturer's specified timeframe. Failure to register the product may result in the extended warranty not being activated.

Warranty terms and conditions vary between manufacturers, and our team will be happy to advise you on the specific warranty available for your chosen appliance at the time of purchase.
