Terms & Conditions

1.       Payment Terms

A.       On Accepting a Quotation or Placement of an order at Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd payment should be received in full unless specified.

B.       All goods remain the property of Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd until payment in full has been received.

2.       Installation Terms

A.       Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd.’s Installation charge does include making good of works carried out by Cliftons of Wrexham, but does not include for any redecoration or relaying carpets or floor covering. 

B.       Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd.’s Installation charge does not include for any upgrade of existing gas supply, should this be necessary on commissioning/testing of new appliance. Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd.’s Installation charge has been based on the gas supply being ‘live’ and no more than 1 meter away from proposed position of appliance, unless specified.

C.       Please note that weather conditions or manufacturer’s delivery may affect the commencing and completion of the contract.  

D.      Works carried out by Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd will be guaranteed for 12 months from date of installation excluding cowl/terminal.

E.       When Servicing Gas Appliances, if a problem occurs within 30 days of service we will return free of charge. But if parts are required you will be given an estimate for work to be carried out. 30 Days after service you will be charged at our hourly rate.

3.       Guarantee/Warranty Terms

A.       Guarantee/Warranty on all Appliances is subject to a Service annually. Guarantee/Warranty will be void if service is not carried out.

B.       All extended Guarantees/Warranties are registered with the manufactures, not with Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd.

4.       Return and Refund Terms

A.       Unless you have a cancellation right as a consumer or faulty/defective goods, any cancellations, returns and refunds will be handled in accordance with this section of the policy:

o    If, between point of order and point of delivery, you decide you no longer require the item ordered, it would be much appreciated if you let us know as soon as possible. If you decide at point of receipt you no longer require the items, then there will be a restocking charge of 25% of order.

o    All goods returned must be in a resaleble condition. Please note that items in opened packaging will invalidate your request for return. Goods will be checked upon receipt and we reserve the right to refuse to credit any item we consider unsuitable for resale. A charge of 25% will be levied against any items returned as not required within 7 days of delivery.  A charge of 30% will be levied against any items returned outside 7 days of delivery.

o    Exclusions: Returns will not be accepted for purchases of special orders, obsolete or price deal stock. Cancellation of orders for non-stocked items will not be accepted. This includes all Flavel Fires.

B.       Claims for damaged goods should be notified on delivery. Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd. Holds no responsibility for damages after. If this is not possible, please ensure all goods received are inspected and any damages notified within 2 working days of receipt. If any damage that can be discovered by you on reasonable examination is not reported within 7 working days, it will be presumed goods were delivered and received in good condition.

C.       If an Error has been made in your delivery, Cliftons of Wrexham Ltd. Should be notified within 2 working days. All goods returned must be in resalable condition. Please note that items in opened packaging will invalidate your request for return. Goods will be checked upon receipt and we reserve the right to refuse credit any item we consider unsuitable for sale.

D.      Any refunds will be paid by BACS. We are not able to refund by Cash, Cheque or Card.

5.       Data Retention/General Data Protection Regulation 2018

A.       We only Share your details with the necessary third parties:

o    A Sub-Contractor (for example, an electrician) is required to complete agreed works.

o    To arrange a warranty call on your behalf with manufacturers due to an appliance fail.

o    To register Installations with the appropriate governing bodies (for example, GasSafe), this is mandatory by law, consent is not required.
